almost there

i am feeling better. well, better then yesterday. the flu has landed in the paff house, type a to be exact. we have been cuddling, napping, movie watching and consuming massive amounts of tea.

corey did a fabulous job of holding down the fort and tending to us sickies for the past 6 days but no one can live up to my impossible standards of cleaning and this house needs a good scrub.

my plan for today is to use this bad boy to sanitize every single surface in this house.

Resolutions

i am really excited about my new years resolution. we eat out, a lot. way, way, way, too much so my resolution is to cook more dinners at home. i love to cook and i have a beautiful kitchen to cook in but i honestly get lazy and the allure of having corey pick up a pizza and clean up consisting of throwing away a pizza box and paper plates gets me every time. i want to start being intentional though about what i feed my family. i found this great little cheat sheet to get me started.

hopefully, this will help me get out of my rut of the same meals and get my organized.

heres to a year of eating well and at home!

new year

it's 7:33pm on new years eve. corey and i are minuets away from tucking our littles into bed and continuing our nye tradition of take out and movies. i love ending the year like this. seems like the perfect bookend to wonderful yet far from perfect year.

i have tons of dreams for 2013. some i can accomplish on my own. some will need a straight up divine intervention.

tea party

this afternoon i was upstairs changing sheets and came downstairs to this.



the sweetest brother sister tea party.



complete with pretzels, pretend tea, american girls, ray mysterio x2 and john cena.





i always thought girls needed sisters like we need air to breath but after coming upon this i think who needs sisters?



Especially, when you have a little brother who adores you and brings his wresting buddies to a tea party with your dolls.

Happy Day(s)

We had a lovely Christmas, did you?



We are so blessed to have so much wonderful family that we spent the past four days party hopping! It was wonderful and the kiddos where troopers yay!







I have to admit I am a bit relieved the whirlwind is over. The only thing left to do is relax and enjoy our christmas gifts cozy in our little house.

where are we now?

Since I stopped blogging on my first blog my family has been busy getting older{tears}. Here is a little update to get everyone up to speed on our life.

Gracie (aka Sassy, Sass, Sassy Girl, Gracie-Kate)





She is the big 5 and in Kindergarten. I can hardly believe it! I knew she would do well in school even being one of the youngest in her class. She has even more independendence(I never thought that was possible), bright and funny! Just to give you a taste of her personality this is what she said to me after her first day of school.

"I love school. I want to be full day. Tomorrow do not walk me into my classroom!"

yeah, I know we are in trouble!


Noah (aka Noey, Noey Tom, Noey Baby, Stink)





Noah is 3 and not in school. Funny story, Noah is a preschool drop out:). We tried. He cried. I cried. We gave up. Right now Noah is content to just be little. He tells me he will go to school when he is 4 and then he says, "don't worry I will be 3 forever." Oh lordy! Can you say mamas boy!(secretly I love it)

Sam is 2 and busy being the worlds best dog. I can't tell you how much we love him. Somedays he is my favorite kid:).


Corey and I are just literally living in their world and couldn't be happier. We remodeled our kitchen and bathroom this summer. that was fun <----------- SARCASM. More on that later.
